Bled Castle Renovation
Bled Castle Renovation
Bled castle, stands on a steep cliff rising 130 metres above the glacial Lake Bled. The image of the castle forming a dramatic backdrop to the romantic lake with an island has earned the resort worldwide recognition through the centuries.

The museum located in the baroque rooms of the castle takes visitors on a journey celebrating the eventful history of Bled from the time when the first settlements in the area appeared to the present day. In 2008 the Bled Culture Institute renovated the museum part of the castle. One of the challenges of the restoration was to keep the structural part of the castle intact and offer a visually clean but functional space for the artifacts at the same time. For heating and cooling the Clima Canal has been selected. It offers good power output in relation to its small size. The latter enabled for the units to be installed in within tight structural limitations. A mini canal roll-up grill with z-profile frame was used for covers.
